We encourage you to acquire new skills, upgrade existing skills and apply them on the job. You can support this process by participating in technical and non-technical learning activities and making the most of your on the job experiences.
We support each employee’s ongoing professional and personal development through a variety of learning options throughout an entire career.
Professional Development
At Deloitte, you will experience a continuous growth and development journey that builds the professional behaviours to successfully perform in your role and progress in your career.
Professional development isn’t just about attending a training program; it goes beyond the classroom. It begins with a discussion between you and your Counseling Manager. You will explore areas of strength, areas for development, set performance expectations and create a career development plan. Development is matched to your specific needs and is a combination of on the job coaching, formal learning and blended resources from books, to article, podcasts and videos, and is formally reviewed biannually.
What set’s Deloitte apart is the flexible and simulated approach to learning. We design the learning experience around actual real life scenarios. Professional Development builds on the foundation that is established at D.Academy (for Graduate employees) and explores a broad range of development areas including business insights, service and sales, engagement management, communication and impact, self and people development and service line specific development initiatives.
