Corporate conscience
Do you want to give a little something back? Do you want the chance to make a real difference while you work?
We work hard to have a positive impact on our community and the environment around us. The Deloitte Foundation enables everyone in the firm to contribute to their wider community. It is our charitable arm through which we channel all of our donations, pro-bono services, volunteerism and board appointments.
From 2009, The Foundation has focused on a small number of strong partnerships, enabling us to have a greater impact within these organisations and make our efforts more effective in the community.
The key elements of our partnerships will be volunteerism involving people from all layers of our firm, pro-bono work, grants and donations.
Our six Community Partnerships
- Good Return

Impact Day
IMPACT Day is a global Deloitte initiative that typically involves one full day of community service. In 2011 over 3000 Deloittians volunteered for 175 different charities for a total of 22,500 hours! Our teams provided help to our communities in the form of professional insights, compassion, and elbow grease for organisations such as Guide Dogs, ABCN, RSPCA, Ronald McDonald House, national parks, Habitat for Humanity, local schools, and the list goes on...
The Deloitte 21 Challenge
The Deloitte21 Challenge is a unique global education initiative developed by Deloitte that aims to help underprivileged young people acquire the education and skills required to lead their communities and the world, to a brighter future. Deloitte21 focuses on programs that assist young people to acquire the education and skills needed to join the 21st-century workforce.
Disaster responses
Natural disasters have occurred on an astonishing scale recently and Deloitte people have given generously. Although we have our 6 key partnerships we still try to remain flexible in order to be able to respond to these emergencies. Recently we raised a collective $200,000 for the Qld floods, $141,625 for the Japan emergency, and donated $50,000 to the crisis in NZ. As famine rages through East Africa, we have donated $75,000.
