Jenny Kwan
Having just celebrated my second anniversary working with my largest client, one might think, ‘Surely that’s a long enough stint for one client in Consulting?’.
My answer is a resounding “No”, and here are the reasons why:
During the past two years, I’ve been involved with four different engagements. I have produced reports for review, executed technical data extraction and analysis using DataStage and complex SQL, supported the data migration of millions of customers, and enabled end-to-end solution governance across multiple IT domains.
These roles not only enabled me to build a breadth of Enterprise Information Management core competencies, they also allowed me to gain deep industry knowledge and develop lasting relationships.
This brings me to the people.
During my time with them, I’ve had the privilege of working with many high-achieving Deloitte teams. The experience has been a catalyst for my personal development, as well as a supplier of great mentors who provided coaching and guidance.
In my opinion, the people at Deloitte are the ‘... and different’ factor that makes us stand out.
Currently, I am working with a large team of culturally diverse talent, with each individual utilising their own unique experience and background to enhance the team's creativity and innovation.
It has been a tremendous journey for me so far. Doing what I love every day is great, but being recognised by the client for it? That’s just brilliant.
