Reach the Top
As a graduate, you might want to know how many years it will take to grow from an entry-level position to the top. Subject to performance, your career can progress along the following path:
Year 1 - Associate
It all starts with your application for the role of associate/analyst at Deloitte. Fresh from the college bench, you will undergo training, development programs and real assignments that will put your academic knowledge to the test and shape you as a professional adviser.
Year 3 - Senior
As a senior, you will strengthen client management capabilities through working with other members of our practice. In addition, you will be an integral part of the business development process and involved in client strategy development from the point of business proposal.
Year 5/6 - Manager
As a manager, you will assume a high level of responsibility for client liaison and portfolio management. New daily responsibilities will include project planning and control, developing deliverables, guiding and mentoring team members, as well as the evaluation of and support for the team. More and more, you will be involved in major client acquisitions.
Year 9 - Senior Manager
Being a senior manager, you will help clients achieve business objectives while minimizing enterprise or project risks through the use of our value-added approaches. You will also play an active role in business development and building new client bases for Deloitte.
Year 12 - Director or Partner
As a director or partner, you will drive growth by developing long-term profitable relationships with high value clients. At the same time, you will be accountable for client relationships with key teams and exercising appropriate risk management. Moreover, your team members will look up to you for coaching, leadership and inspiration.
