Innovation is part of everything we do; it’s in our DNA. Rather than asking why, we ask why not? We love ideas, big and small. Whether it's a light bulb moment or just the seed for something greater, we know ideas can come from anywhere and everywhere. That's why everyone at Deloitte is empowered to get their creative juices flowing; to dream up new products and services to bring to market.
In 2011, we launched the China Innovation Program, an idea-sharing scheme covering the entire innovation process including idea shaping, DeepDive workshop, funding, implementation and that’s just a start.
With the premise that everyone is an innovator, all employees are welcome to submit their ideas related to revenue growth, talent, client experience and innovation culture.
We’re all in it together in pursuit of breakthrough ideas and market-making innovations.
The first year of the China Innovation Program has reaped impressive results:
- 776 ideas were captured in 2011, of which 31 ideas have been implemented with more ideas entering the implementation process!
- All ideas were welcome, but the best ones were rewarded and recognized firm-wide.
- The special “As One” Innovation Awards were presented by China CEO Chris Lu at the 2011 National Partners & Directors Conference.
