Why a career in Audit?

Audit is a great place to start your career as it will provide you with insights into the business operations of numerous companies. As a valued member of our Audit department, you will work with experienced professionals who will go to client sites and look closely at every part of their financials. With the support from your team members, you will have the opportunity to engage with our clients, in the provision of audit, assurance and advisory services right from your very first engagement thus providing you with the opportunity to gain wide business knowledge of entities which vary enormously in their operations, controls, structure and commercial attitudes.

What we do?

Overview

The Audit department delivers a range of audit and advisory services to a wide variety of clients, in every business sector. Auditing is a complex process and the importance of auditors in the financial reporting chain has never been more important or more valued than in the current environment. As a trainee you will work on a succession of audits throughout the year both on site in the office and offsite at the clients’ premises, typically from one to six weeks in length. Our team provides a range of services to assist clients in achieving their business objectives, managing risk and improving performance.

Department breakdown

The Audit team is split into specialist groups:
• Financial Services: banking, investment funds and insurance.
• Consumer and Technology Business: manufacturing, distribution, pharmaceuticals, retail, media, technology and property.
• Actuarial & Insurance Solutions: work across the insurance spectrum providing services to both Life and Non-Life clients.
