Corporate social responsibility
At Navarro Amper & Co. (formerly Manabat Delgado Amper & Co.), we are committed to being good corporate citizens and we take our responsibility to the planet and local communities seriously. We believe passionately in the need to invest in the communities in which we work and live. Each year, we identify where our skills, expertise and financial contribution can have the greatest impact and ways in which we can effectively enagage our people. For us, it's not just about money, but we also donate our time, expertise and the support to a number of worthy causes.
Impact Day
Annually, we celebrate Impact Day where our people set aside their work for a day to come together and volunteer their time to non-profit organisations and charitable initiatives. We participated in a number of activities such as:
- Tree planting at Eco Park, Manila
- Building houses in collaboration with Habitat for Humanities, Philippines
- Spending a day with the children of Bahay Kalinga Orphanage
- Painting walls and chairs at Maliksi Elementary School, Cavite City in collaboration with Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP). This is a "Brigada Eskwela" project.
