Diversity is playing an ever increasing role in innovation. The ideas generated by clashing cultures is one of the ways Deloitte is able to stay one step ahead. DTME is proud to have over 25 nationalities across the region at all levels with women playing an increasingly valuable role in leadership positions. We make sure that operating in a different cultural surrounding does not infringe on ones personal cultural belonging this is don’t through progressive practices and diversity tools that make our candidates feel right at home while also providing opportunities to further develop skills and follow their interests down new roads. Using constant feedback from our people we are also able to shape human resources policies allowing us to move forward with the relentless aim of making Deloitte the most sought after organization for talent and clients alike.
Diversity does not end with cultural difference. Women also play an integral part in the Deloitte workforce, Deloitte is committed to the recruitment and advancement of women through initiatives such as its Council for the Global Retention of Women (GROW) and Deloitte in the Middle East's DRAW (Deloitte retention and advancement of women). DRAW was designed to ensure Deloitte & Touche (M.E.) is the place where talented high performing women can find outstanding careers. In the last few years DRAW has seen the introduction of a number of initiatives, including work/life balance policies to help further women's careers at Deloitte. At the same time, promotions within the firm have seen women assuming more leadership roles in the region.
