Life in Gatwick
Gatwick is a great option for professionals who want exposure to high-quality work in an environment that benefits from its proximity to London. Gatwick is a very modern, energetic office. Our modest size means that responsibility comes early for those with ambition and enthusiasm. You will have many opportunities to get to know your colleagues outside work either through participation in a wide variety of sporting and leisure activities – from playing in our office football teams and their annual tour to Prague, netball teams, cycling in the London to Brighton Bike Ride, to parties, go-karting and dragon boat challenges – or through our local community investment programme.
Thanks to its location the Gatwick office offers easy access to London, while seaside Brighton, with its lively arts and clubbing scene – is also only 20 minutes away. When it’s peace and quiet you want there are miles of rolling countryside and coastline of the South Downs National Park to explore with quaint villages and unspoilt rural pubs within Sussex and nearby Surrey and Kent. With Gatwick salaries at or close to London levels and an international airport on your doorstep, trips to Europe and beyond are a realistic and highly affordable alternative.

Deloitte in the community
At Gatwick, our commitment to our community extends to volunteering our time, donations and support of local initiatives.
We support our chosen local charity, St. Catherine’s hospice, through regular fundraising drives, such as bake sales and Friday dress down days. We also take part in St. Catherine’s annual dragonboat race.
Each year, a strong contingent of Gatwick athletes runs the JP Morgan Corporate Challenge, and the mantle of office champion is always hotly contested!
The highlight of the Community Investment Calendar is the Community Day. Three projects are identified in order to allow the entire office to get together at a local school or charity and provide whatever assistance is requested. This year, projects ranged from gardening at a school for those with learning difficulties to painting a welcome mural at an old people’s home
Diversity at Deloitte
We are determined to build an organisation that reflects the world around us and the world in which our clients operate. We’re also aware that when it comes to top talent, demand far exceeds supply. And nowhere is this more apparent than when it comes to bringing the best talent into our organisation. That’s why we're pushing hard to become a place where the most talented people can do their best work, progress quickly and fulfil their potential – irrespective of their backgrounds. Diversity is, therefore, a key part of our recruitment strategy.
