We understand that knowing what you want from a career is a difficult choice to make, and that’s why we have created unique event - ‘Spring into Deloitte’ exclusively for first year University students and undergraduate students in their second year of a four year course.
Spring into Deloitte is a two day residential course running in four of our regional offices, with the aim of giving you a real feel for what it is like to work at Deloitte. The days themselves will be jam packed with business games, skill sessions and networking with a range of staff from first year Graduates to Partners. One nights’ accommodation will be provided at the event where you will dine with more of our people to help you decide what kind of career you will be suited to.
Spring into Deloitte open to new applications on 1st November 2013, and close off for each location as soon as places are filled. Apply soon to avoid disappointment.

Spring into Deloitte selection process
Once you have registered with us you will need to download and complete an online application form from our website. Our application form includes a number of sections, including education, career motivation, positions of responsibility and work experience. Once submitted, your application will screened within three working days and if successful you will be invited to the next stage of online testing.
Providing you are successful at application stage, we’ll then invite you to sit an online numerical psychometric test. We’ll also give you plenty of opportunity to complete practice tests beforehand.
If successful at the online tests, you will then sit the E-Tray exercise. The e-tray exercise requires you to deal with an inbox containing a series of emails.
The assessment contains two tasks:
- Choose the most appropriate and effective action to take on the emails that appear in your inbox
- Write an email communication about a particular issue in the exercise
You will be given plenty of opportunities to practice e-tray exercises online beforehand.
Please note that e-tray exercises will be marked within three working days wherever possible.
