What got you started in your sport?
My grandma raised me from the age of 5 years old and she introduced me to T-ball the year she adopted me and I have never looked back! She also got me involved in basketball and volleyball in the 4th grade and I fell in love with those sports as well!
What advice would you give to students about following their passion/their dreams?
My advice to students following their passions and dreams is to always stay focused of what you can do as opposed to what you can’t do. Never compare yourself to anyone else and always try to set and accomplish your own smaller personal goals. That always leads to bigger accomplishments!
How do you give back?
I love to give back by spending time with young women and men with disabilities and teaching them sport. I think it’s so important to be a role model and I know that if they see me reaching my goals that they are encourage by it.
