Learn more about Financial Advisory Services

I’d like to learn more about what people in Deloitte FAS actually do … can you explain?

Deloitte FAS is a relatively young business with more than 1,500 U.S. professionals who deal with some of the toughest issues facing businesses today. That can mean detecting exposure to fraudulent activity, implementing anti-money laundering compliance programs, advising counsel in litigation, and helping companies determine asset value in a rigorous regulatory environment. It can also mean preparing companies for a divestiture or acquisition, or helping financially distressed companies through a reorganization or liquidation process.

Deloitte FAS is a fast-growing entity, and one of the most excited and varied among the Deloitte U.S. firms. Within Deloitte FAS, we advise clients on complex financial and economic issues such as Anti-Fraud, Anti Money Laundering, Foreign Corrupt Practices ActCorporate Investigations and more. Our Business Valuation and Tangible Asset Valuation professionals work closely with clients to help them quantify and articulate value for taxation, transaction, financing and strategic management purposes. Our Corporate Finance Advisory practice offers sophisticated investment banking advice to companies pursuing complex middle market merger, sale and divestiture transactions. We help bridge the gap between the domestic financial advisory boutiques and the major investment banks. Our Reorganization Services group helps companies that are under performing or facing financial loss to weigh their options and pursue the path that best meets their needs. The Real Estate Consulting group helps companies make better real estate business decisions. Our Capital Projects Consulting team helps clients improve the return on investment of capital construction projects.
